Halul Offshore Services has become the first company to have a ship simulator to Qatar.
The company, a subsidiary of Milaha, has bought an OSV ship handling simulator, to train its crew who man over 40 vessels.
“This simulator supports the development of our operational capabilities, and will allow Halul to continue to provide innovative solutions to our partners and clients in Qatar and beyond, particularly in today’s challenging market,” said Abdulrahman Essa Al-Mannai, president and ceo of Milaha.
Halul ceo Vivek Seth commented: “This simulator will significantly add to our crew’s ship handling skills, and help them become better prepared for their next assignment on board our fleet of over 40 vessels.”
