Bourbon takes over Global Offshore Services in India

According to sources, Bourbon SA is set to acquire a majority stake in India's Global Offshore Services.  The France-based offshore services provider will reportedly sign a deal on July 14, and seeks to acquire a 50.1 percent stake in Global Offshore. Once the deal goes through, Bourbon will come up with an open offer for another 25 percent. Global Offshore's Kamet 3,300 dwt PSV was recently awarded a three-year contract with oil major ONGC.
